Red Sox could have hotel problems?

Hotel rooms are at a premium in St. Louis this week due to a convention of nephrologists (kidney doctors), who have booked 12,000 rooms in the area.

The Red Sox only booked their rooms through Thursday morning, which could be a problem because there is at least a 30 percent chance of rain in the city tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday.

Game 3 tomorrow appears to be the greatest chance for rain (60 percent), with showers forecast throughout the day and night. Scattered thunderstorms are forecast for both Wednesday and Thursday.

According to a booking agent at one of the major downtown hotels, the nephrologists have threatened preemptive lawsuits if they get bumped from their rooms due to the World Series.
