Thanks to all of you for your support. I have received many letters from listeners in Los Angeles and all over the country the last few days. It makes me feel good to know that my work on Dodger Talk and as host of the "Ben and Dave Show" did not go unnoticed.
Special thanks to those of you who wrote from Tampa, Pittsburgh, Baltimore and other cities that never even heard me on the radio before I arrived at Fox Sports Radio.
I've already had talks with a program director in LA about a full time position. I have also had interest from three other program directors around the country.
My number one goal is to stay at FOX SPORTS RADIO. I love the people and management here and want to be part of the growth of the network. We already have some 130 affiliates.
The plan is to take the next few weeks off to recover (except weekends). I have been working seven days a week since last October with a total off just three days off.
I will update this site as often as possible and plan on actually voicing my opinion on sports topics and other issues. If you have any questions that you want me to answer in this area, drop me an e-mail at the front of this page. permalink

As many of you know by now I was fired by David G. Hall as the morning update dude at KXTA 1150am. I would like to say thanks to some of the folks who helped me over my time at the big 1-1-5-0.
First of all Beau Bennett who brought me to the station. I was a reporter at XTRA SPORTS 690am in San Diego. Beau gave me my big break as a talk show host and believed in my ability at a very young age.
Thanks to Mike Thompson. Mayor McCheese came to 1150 from Philadelphia. He was great to work for. His teaching helped me improve 100% as a host. If only the people at clear channel had gotten rid of the XTRA nickname sooner for 1150am the ratings would have been there for the Mayor.
Also thanks to Terry Bradshaw who became a friend while he hosted the midday show before "The Ben and Dave show." Terry is a real man. He's as nice a guy off the air as he is on.
Thanks to Ross Porter, By far the highlight of my time at 1150 was being Ross' side kick as host of Dodger Talk It was a joy to travel around covering a pathetic baseball team that will always have a place in my heart. The 2000 Los Angeles Dodgers.
Keep listening to my weekend show on the Fox Sports Radio Network. I look forward to my next full-time gig... look back here for updates.
P.S. Congratulations to my friend and former host at 1150 Dave Denholm who is back on the air in Los Angeles, Dave can be heard doing sports updates and traffic Saturday's and Sunday's on ESPN Radio 1110am.
